MINUTES of Staffing Working Party held in the Town Hall on WEDNESDAY 16th OCTOBER 2024 which commenced at 7.05pm.

3/1610. TO RECEIVE AN UPDATE ON THE COUNCIL EMPLOYEES JOB DESCRIPTIONS
The job descriptions were discussed with both employees with the understanding there would be a consultation period. The job descriptions were sent to Chris Moses (HR services) for his advice. Unfortunately, the response was very brief and unhelpful.
RECOMMEND: The council enter into a consultation period with its employees and seek some advice on the length of the consultation from Chris Moses. The Clerk will also contact the council’s insurance company to see what HR services are covered by them.
4/1610. TO RECEIVE AN UPDATE ON THE OH REFERRAL PROCESS
referral for the Clerk has been sent but there has been no response yet. The workplace assessments for both employees have been undertaken and the reports are ready.
RECOMMEND: The Chairperson will chase the OH referral and the Clerk will list the requirements from the workplace assessments.
5/1610. TO RECEIVE A COPY OF THE NEW SEXUAL AND GENERAL HARASSMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE FROM CHRIS MOSES
A change in the law has meant an update was due to the sexual and general harassment policy and procedure, this comes into effect on 26th October. The HR services provider has provided the up-to-date policy.
RECOMMEND: The council agree to adopt the new sexual and general harassment policy and procedure.

The meeting was closed at 7.21pm.
These will be presented to Full Council on Monday 21st October 2024.
