Big Warsop
Big Warsop is a Big Local project that is investing £1m from the Big Lottery to make a lasting and positive difference to communities within the Warsop Parish.
Local residents decide how the funding is invested. The aim is to bring together the talent, ambitions, skills and energy from local groups, organisations and individuals who want to make our area an even better place to live. By involving local residents, Big Warsop provides opportunities for people to develop their skills and confidence, helps them to identify what matters most to them, and encourages them to take action within their community to change things for the better.
Big Local is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and managed by Local Trust. Big Warsop is a 10 year project that will support and invest in activities that empower people and meet the needs of the community. Five themes provide the framework for Big Warsop’s delivery plan:
