3/0424. DISCUSS AND SIGN THE CONTRACT FOR THE ASSET TRANSFER WITH THE SALE OF THE OUTBUILDING AMENDMENT

A copy of the Deed of Agreement, Deed of Covenant and a TR1 Land Registry form was given to members. The amendment regarding Lifespring Church being able to sell the outbuildings was included.

The Chairperson noted that the details of Warsop Parish Council and Lifespring Church on page 1 of the Deed of Covenant had not been included.

The Clerk stated that the solicitor gave specific instructions on what sections to complete.

RESOLVED: Cllrs Hardy and Bonsall signed all the forms, and the council asked the Clerk to check with its solicitor that there were no other sections to be completed.

4/0424. DISCUSS A CONTINGENCY PLAN SHOULD THE ASSET TRANSFER CONTRACT EXCHANGE NOT TAKE PLACE AT THE END OF APRIL

Members discussed different options on how to proceed if the contract exchange was delayed or failed to be completed.

RESOLVED: The council agreed to extend the original deadline by 4 weeks and allocated a costing of £5,000 that could be used from the main reserves if required. This matter will be rediscussed at the May meeting if there are no further developments. The council also asked the Clerk to speak to Liz Phillips at Lifespring Church to discuss possible payments for services.
