3/2401. MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING – Monday 15th November 2021
There were 2 amendments, the Clerk needed adding as being present and under the District Council update, Cllr Marion Bradshaw should say Mariam Amos.
RESOLVED: Agreed and accepted as a true record with the 2 amendments.
4/2401. MINUTES OF THE CONFIDENTIAL EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING – Wednesday 1st December 2021

5/2401. MINUTES OF THE F&GP MEETING – Wednesday 19th January 2022
There was one amended to the minutes; the Clerk needed adding as being present.
RESOLVED: Minute 3/1901 and 4/1901 -
The council agreed the reserve list –

The council accepted the quarterly budget.
The council agreed with recommendation two. A 0% increase of the Parish Precept.
RESOLVED: Minute 5/1901 – The council agreed that the Clerk should obtain quotes for cleaning companies and this option would save the community group (should they manage the Town Hall) following TUPE rules for a cleaner employed by WPC.
RESOLVED: Minute 6/1901 – The council accepted the financial regulations and finance risk assessment policies.
RESOLVED: Minute 7/1901 – The council agreed to funding of £500 for DUWC.
RESOLVED: Minute 8/1901 – The council agreed to funding of £500 for Warsop Smile.
RESOLVED: Minute 9/1901 – The council agreed that the room hire breakdown and discussions should go back to the F&GP meeting rather than a separate group. A room hire consultation letter should be sent to all room hirers.
RESOLVED: Minute 10/1901 – The agreed to a 50% reduction which would mean Warsop Infotech would pay £1,500 for the Oct 21 to Mar 22 period.
RESOLVED: Minute 11/1901 – After a lengthy discussion on the previous PCs and the new PCs, it was agreed that the council would trial having informal meetings with PC Loftus and councillors will feed back to full council if they can attend. The Clerk will arrange these meetings with PC Kieran Loftus.
6/2401. CRIME AND DISORDER – REPORT FROM THE WARSOP PARISH TEAM
No police present or report submitted.

7/2401. MATTERS ARISING OUT OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None.
8/2401. A PROPOSAL FROM CLLR BURGIN FOR THE CLERK TO STOP INVITING/CHASING THE POLICE, COUNTY COUNCILLOR AND ANY OTHER ORGANISATION TO ATTEND THE MEETING OR SENDING A REPORT
Cllr Burgin proposed that the Clerk should stop inviting/chasing the police, county councillor and any other organisation. He explained that the Clerk has enough to do within her role and as long as all organisations receive a list of meeting dates then no further communications are required in relation to attending a meeting or sending a report.
RESOLVED: The Clerk will stop inviting and chasing organisations in relation to council meetings.
9/2401. CHRISTMAS MARKET UPDATE FROM THE ASSISTANT CLERK
RESOLVED: The Assistant Clerk updated the council on the Christmas celebrations event on Saturday 4th December. She explained that the event was well attended despite the horrible weather. The businesses were very pleased with the event. There were only a couple of issues regarding the Rotary Club and the Santa sleigh and Voices of the Vale stall holders who ended up leaving the event. She thanked the Clerk and Cllrs for their help on the day.
The Clerk thanked the Assistant Clerk’s husband and father who were instrumental in setting up the stage, generators, market stalls and moving all the heavy equipment from the Town Hall. She also thanked the Assistant Clerk’s mother, daughter and sister along with her own son and mother.
10/2401. WARSOP PARISH COUNCIL – UPDATE FROM THE CHAIR/CLERK IF REQUIRED
The Clerk update the council on maintenance works and the delays which is due to Covid.
Another application has come through for the Cllr vacancies.
Will the next meeting be at the Chambers in the Town Hall or at the Fretwell Complex that has been provisionally booked.
RESOLVED: The February meeting will be held at the Fretwell Complex with a decision over the location of future meetings at the February meeting.
11/2401. BIG WARSOP – UPDATE FROM CLLRS BURGIN, SIMPSON AND WILLIAMSON-COOPER
No update due to no one attending.
12/2401. WARSOP PARISH NEWS – UPDATE FROM THE CHAIR, VICE-CHAIR OR CLERK
The Clerk said she will be working on the paper after the minutes and actions had been completed. There will be a page for the Christmas event with a poster for the next Christmas event. There will also be a car park notice, Spring event poster and an article on Mansfield Refillery who won business of the year.

14/2401. NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL – UPDATE FROM THE COUNTY COUNCILLOR
As per the council’s decision, the Clerk will email the update that’s been received from the County Councillor.
13/2401. MANSFIELD DISTRICT COUNCIL – UPDATE FROM DISTRICT COUNCILLORS
Cllr Burgin said a proposal to freeze council tax will heard at tomorrow night’s District Council meeting.
Glass collections should resume but illness is still creating a problem with planned collections.
He also spoke about the Towns Fund bid and the planned community hub.

Cllr Butler spoke about the Stonebridge development and how road markings had already been marked out even though the application was removed from the January planning meeting.
Cllr Burgin said the application will be heard at the February planning meeting.
Cllr Hardy mentioned that she still hasn’t received the FOI request regarding the Stonebridge application.
Cllr Burgin said Cllr Hardy should Cc the Mayor into an email chasing the information.
- Parks within the Parish
Cllr Burgin updated council on the issue with the swans/cygnets. Unfortunately, all the cygnets died from a suspected case of avian flu but not testing was done to confirm this. The adult swans seem to be ok.
He also spoke about the weir project that’s being proposed
