Human Resources Meeting Agenda 3 July 2025

You are hereby invited to attend a meeting of the Human Resources (HR) Committee which will be held on Thursday, 03 July commencing at 6.00pm at Warsop Town Hall.

Members of the committee as appointed at the WPC meeting 23 June are Cllrs Bonsall, Hughes (Chairperson), McGuinness, Sorrell and Stephenson.

Please note: The meeting will be followed immediately by a meeting of the Finance and General Purposes (F&GP) Committee. The F&GP committee may have to postpone its start time until this committee is closed.

Public Forum: to receive questions and comments from residents of the village on any matter relating to items on this agenda. (15 minutes maximum)

HR-25-01 To note apologies for absence.

HR-25-02 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and consider any dispensation requests received by the Clerk

HR-25-03 To consider if any items on the agenda require the exclusion of public and press under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 during the consideration of items of business as publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

HR-25-04 To receive the minutes of the previous HR Working Group Meeting and resolve to sign these as a true record of the meeting(s).

HR-25-05 To note the committee’s Terms of Reference as approved by Full Council 23 June 2025.

HR-25-06 To elect a vice chairperson for this committee.

HR-25-07 Events and Liaison Coordinator::

  • To consider the draft person specification and job description for a Events and Liaison Coordinator.
  • To consider a pay scale on the NJC national Scale for the Events Coordinator post to be advertised at and recommend to F&GP committee
  • To consider a suitable time scale for advertising, shortlisting and interviews to be incorporated in the adverts for the post.
  • To agree the wording of the advert.
  • To agree where to advertise the post and approve any expenditure required.

HR-25-08 Parish Clerk/RFO:

  • To consider the draft person specification and job description for a Events and Liaison Coordinator.
