You are hereby Invited to attend a meeting of the Finance and General Purposes (F&GP) Committee which will be held on Thursday, 03 July commencing at 6.30pm at Warsop Town Hall.
Please note: The meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Human Resources (HR) Committee. The HR committee may overrun which will delay the start of this committee.
Members of the committee as appointed at the WPC meeting 23 June are Cllrs Bonsall, McGuinness, Sorrell and Stephenson (Chairperson).

Public Forum: to receive questions and comments from residents of the village on any matter relating to items on this agenda. (15 minutes maximum)
FGP-25-01 To note apologies for absence.
FGP-25-02 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and consider any dispensation requests received by the Clerk
FGP-25-03 To receive the minutes of the previous F&GP Working Group Meeting and resolve to sign these as a true record of the meeting(s).

FGP-25-04 To consider if any items on the agenda require the exclusion of public and press under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 during the consideration of items of business as publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
FGP-25-05 To note the committee’s Terms of Reference as approved by Full Council 23 June 2025.
FGP-25-06 To elect a vice chairperson for this committee.
FGP-25-07 To receive and note the Clerk’s Report.
FGP-25-08 Financial Matters:
- To receive and note the council’s receipts and payments report for the end of the previous month. (to be tabled)
- To receive and note the council’s receipts and payments over budget report to the end of the previous month. (To be Tabled)
- To receive and note the council’s bank balances and reconciliation to the end of the previous month (To be tabled)
- To authorise payment of £100 for councillor training
- To authorise the expenditure and payment for emergency tree work as per the clerk’s report and allocate the costs to a budget heading.
FGP-25-09 To consider:

quotations received to provide all members with a .gov.uk email addresses as per the councils previous decision:
4/0603 – Members discussed the benefits of having a .gov domain name.
RESOLVED: The council agreed to follow best practice and retrieve costs for changing to a .gov domain name and include an email - And to consider upgrading the council’s website at the same time, ensuring it will be compliant with WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
FGP-25-10 To receive quotations for road closures, PA equipment and any other costs in connection with the Remembrance Day Parade and decide on suitable suppliers to place the orders. All payments to come from Parish Projects Budget Code.
FGP-25-11 To consider requesting a grant from the County Councillor as in previous years and to consider to carry the full cost if the grant is not forthcoming.
FGP-25-12 To consider what proportion of the Parish Projects Budget Code should be allocated to the Christmas event.
FGP-25-13 To agree and note the date and time of the next F&GP Committee meeting.
