761. Prepaid Card
The Clerk gave an update regarding the prepaid card that the Parish Council currently use. The current card is a Thomas Cook prepaid card that is registered under Cllr Kerr’s name but due to his personal circumstances, he has been unable to top up the card for staff. Thomas Cook at Shirebrook has recently closed and the nearest branch is now in Mansfield. At the last Parish Council meeting it was agreed that Gemma Blagg and the Clerk would book on to a bid writing course and the fee for the course had to be paid by card. The Thomas Cook card didn’t have enough money for one place so the Clerk made a decision to open a Post Office prepaid card and top it up with the normal top up amount, so the bid writing course could be booked. This card can be used and topped up by any staff member and councillor as it uses a pin and the Post Office is located in Warsop.
762. Warsop Market
Stuart Whittle brought the council documents that were requested. Members read through the paperwork and discussed different possibilities for moving forward. Cllr Burgin asked the Clerk to find out how long Steve (erects the stalls) has worked for the market.
RECOMMEND: Full council are to discuss and decide how to move forward with the market.

RECOMMEND: Defer this item to the next finance meeting.

In accordance with Public Bodies (admission to meetings) Act 1960 section 1 (2) the Council exclude the public and press from the meeting by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted. This item will be discussed at the end of the meeting.
765. Simon Wragg – MP Letter
