9869. APPROVAL – NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
The Clerk gave the legal update regarding the Parish Councils standing orders and how a decision can’t be changed for 6 months unless new information that hasn’t been mentioned before came to light regarding the NP or there was information that wasn’t in the NP that could have a detrimental effect on the council.
Cllr Kerr has a large list of amendments for the NP.
Cllr Burgin suggested that Cllr Kerr submit his amendments during the consultation period as the Parish Council have already approved the plan.
Cllr Davis proposed that Cllr Kerr should submit his amendments during the consultation period. Cllr Kerr seconded the motion.
RESOLVED: The council unanimously agreed Cllr Kerr should submit his amendments during the consultation period.
Cllr Adey stated the plan could go out to consultation (informally) and an advisor had suggested the Council remove the policies from the plan before going out to consultation. She said once the feedback has been received a consultant will need to be employed before the plan goes out to formal consultation. It was suggested that the informal 6-week consultation should take place from 1st October to 9th November.
Cllr Burgin stated the council have approved the plan which included the policies so therefore, it must stay the same.
RESOLVED: The council agreed for the consultation to take place between 1st October to 9th November. This gives the council enough time to plan and prepare the distribution of the plan around the Parish of Warsop. The policies will not be removed.
The Chairman opened the meeting for Karen Hardy to comment.
Karen Hardy stated LWS would be willing to help in promoting the plan.
Cllr Burgin thanked her for her support.
