13/1603. NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL – UPDATE FROM CLLR WETTON
Friday night office staff were advised they would have to work from home. All meetings cancelled. Making decisions today on how to cope with frontline services. Sent guidance to Andy Abrahams as not had anything from MDC. Some councillors were working with the community to support groups – advice is not to do this as councillors – need to direct people to official sites and help. Need to follow advice from Public Health England and government – it could lead to meetings which should be discouraged and also potential safeguarding issues. Possibility that schools may close by the end of this week. Cllr Andy Wetton feels this advice goes a little against the way councillors work but has to follow government advice. Police are being given extra powers to deal with people who aren’t complying. Supply chain may be an issue.

The Chair updated members that the fair was due in May, but this is now unlikely due to the Coronavirus situation. MDC are looking to invest in the Carrs by updating the changing rooms and possible plans for a café. This isn’t definite yet and there may still be some discussions on this.
Meden Baths - Update
Work is ongoing. One of the recommendations from the health and well being survey is to get it working again. There are still lots of discussions and trying to get everyone to agree is not an easy task. Meetings will be delayed due to the current public health crisis.
15/1603. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
